Our operations are carried out in collaboration with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS), the London integrated commissioning boards and associated critical care networks to provide a transfer service for critically ill patients throughout London 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Transfer teams are currently operational within the four geographical sectors of London, operating under the oversight of Bart's Health, as the host trust. The ACCESS Team include one transfer doctor, one transfer practitioner, and two LAS crew, all led by two Duty Consultants who provide close support and expertise each day. Please note that the 48 hour week is based on a 12 week rota.
