Salaried General Practitioner

Oakridge Park Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and motivated GP to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and can work confidently and effectively in a busy primary care environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and forward-thinking practice serving a growing patient population in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent clinical care while contributing to the ongoing development of the practice and wider Primary Care Network. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, with the potential for extension, subject to funding and service requirements. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to the practice population through face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, prescribing safely and effectively, reviewing and actioning clinical correspondence and test results, maintaining accurate clinical records, and undertaking home visits where appropriate. The role also involves supporting patients with long-term conditions, managing referrals, contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance activities, achieving QOF and Enhanced Service objectives, and working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team. In addition, the post holder will participate in continuing professional development.
