Trust Doctor (FY2) In Stroke & rehabilitation

Stroke & Stroke Rehabilitation Medicine at Chapel Allerton Hospital.

We are inviting applications to fill our Trust Grade (FY2 level) vacancy at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Stroke & Stroke Rehabilitation Medicine at Chapel Allerton Hospital. This post will commence ideally on the 5th August 2026 and is fixed term for 12 months.

Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice by the intended start date.

This is an appointment for a Trust Grade Doctor in Stroke Rehabilitation Medicine. This post is available to start on 05/08/26 with an expected duration of 1 year. The post involves working on the stroke rehabilitation unit at ward C6 in Chapel Allerton Hospital, participating in ward rounds and reviewing patient undergoing stroke rehab. There is no on-call component to this post. There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to become involved in teaching and training, to contribute to clinical governance, and audit and quality improvement work. Self directed training time is included in the rota for this post, and the doctor will also be invited to join the education programme within the department. This post will be based at Chapel Allerton Hospital, working with an established team. Further information about our department is available in the job description.
