Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic Locum Consultant to join the Acute Medicine Department at University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be based at Queens Hospital, Burton on Trent. This is a fixed term Consultant post, for 2 years only, to cover a career break. The Acute Medicine Business Unit is proud to offer high quality clinical care within flexible and sustainable job plan structures. We positively encourage part time working or job plans split with other specialties. A number of our team operate in this way, delivering DCC in other medical specialties, including Stroke, Medicine and Cardiology.Our vision is 'to be a pinnacle for best practice and patient care across our emergency and urgent care pathways.
