This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist and two Associate Specialists, within a 36-bed inpatient service. Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team including Nursing, OT, Psychology, and Social Work, supporting patients with the help of an Associate Specialist doctor. While primarily responsible for delivering a quality clinical service, you will also be expected to be actively involved in the strategic development of the team and broader services, being involved with the ward manager and senior management team in helping to steer the development of the service in line with the strategic direction of the hospital and Elysium.

The role involves working in a 36-bed inpatient service alongside another Consultant Psychiatrist and two Associate Specialists. The selected individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team including Nursing, OT, Psychology, and Social Work. Responsibilities include leading clinical decision-making and managing complex cases, formulating care plans, participating in MDT meetings, collaborating with external agencies, and contributing to clinical governance and audits.
