About the role
Join a forward-thinking, friendly GP practice as a Salaried GP (up to 8 sessions per week), delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive rural community. This is an opportunity to practise medicine with purpose, away from the pressures of urban settings, while remaining well-connected to nearby cities.
You will undertake 6-8 clinical sessions per week, including routine GP clinics and list-based care, offering continuity and variety in your day-to-day work. The role is supported by a well-structured duty team, ensuring manageable workloads and protected time for administrative responsibilities. There are also opportunities to contribute to extended services such as minor surgery, joint injections, and contraception etc, depending on your interests.
Set in the tranquil North Cambridgeshire Fens, our practice serves a population of around 13,500 patients across four well-connected sites. We are a progressive training practice with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and professional development. Our multidisciplinary team includes GP Partners, a Nurse Partner, a Managing Partner, Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and Paramedics, supported by a highly skilled nursing and administrative team. Through effective integration of ARRS roles, including pharmacy professionals and social prescribing services, we ensure a holistic approach to patient care while maintaining sustainable workloads.
