Consultant Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma)

We are seeking a Consultant Ophthalmologist  with specialist interest in Glaucoma to lead and deliver high-quality glaucoma services within our dynamic Ophthalmology Department. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.

Lead the glaucoma service, delivering outpatient clinics, laser treatments, and theatre sessions.

Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 12) shared with Ashford & St Peters’ Hospital.

Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.

Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Engage in teaching and research in collaboration with the University of Surrey and the Surrey Cancer Research Institute.
