GUY'S AND ST. THOMAS' HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST Senior Clinical Fellow in Clinical Oncology Nodal Point - 4 - £55,329 p.a excl. of LZ (pro rata) Full Time - 40 hours per week Fixed Term - 6 months Applications are invited for a post in the Clinical oncology department at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital. This post is available from March 2024 onward for a period of six months. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in oncology and having involvement in our new high profile Cancer Centre. Our department is well-recognized for its provision of specialist Oncology training. These posts do not have educational support for specialist training, but here are exciting educational opportunities, including involvement in clinical trial research, audit, appraisal, and provision for study leave to be taken.To be considered for this role, MRCP or equivalent is desirable as is oncology experience. You will need to have passed the IELTS exam.

Specific purpose of the post:

The post will be largely outpatient or day unit based to ensure safe administration of systemic anti-cancer therapy and radiotherapy.

To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care

To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training
