The Home Treatment Team (HTT) is based at the Laurence Hous, Birch Hill Hospital, Rochdale.
HTT's main role is to act as an alternative to admission, with active treatment in the community as well as supporting those in crisis for short periods of support (usually around 7 days). We also support patients from the ward (supported discharge and leave) as well as support community initiation of Clozapine when required. Occasionally we will also support other HTT patients when they move into our catchment area of Oldham. The main role of the SAS post is to support the HTT in medical management, which includes reviews, discussions and supporting the Board Rounds in the team. You will be based in the open plan HTT office with an enthusiastic and dedicated team. There will be wide range of assessments raning from emergency mental health act assessments, clinic and home visits.
