Locum Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

We are delighted to invite candidates to apply to work with us in this dynamic and expanding Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in a beautiful area of North Yorkshire. Here at York and Scarborough NHS Trust we serve the impressive historic city itself but also cover the original seaside resort of Scarborough and the spa town of Harrogate. History, nature and sporting delights - enough to satisfy the most enquiring of minds or athletically gifted! This post is based at York and Scarborough Hospitals for a period of 12 months (with the possibility of extension). There are a total of 10 PAs available for this post and there is flexibility with regards to potential job plans.We are open to offers of part time working. Candidates must have full GMC Registration and sufficient experience in the specialty to work independently in clinic and theatre. The candidate will ideally contribute to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on-call rota, covering a diverse area of North Yorkshire. This would ideally be on a 1:6 basis (7-day pattern with Friday morning handover) but we are open to discussing this further at interview.
