Consultant Interventional Radiologist

Interventional Radiology You are invited to join our small team based at Broomfield Hospital offering a broad range of vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures which include but are not limited to; lung microwave ablations, peripheral angioplasty/stenting, embolisation, vascular access procedures, urological/biliary stenting, gastrostomy and GI stenting. The team support a supra-regional multidisciplinary service for the treatment of adults and children with vascular malformations is based at Broomfield Hospital. Interventional radiology and plastic surgery lead the vascular malformation team with shared outpatient clinics. Sclerotherapy, embolisation and hybrid IR/surgical procedures are performed within IR. Out of hours work is delivered at Basildon Hospital on a 1:12 rotation. Job plans are developed to reflect this commitment.
