Consultant Urologist Emersons Green, Bristol and Devizes Wiltshire Part-time, 24 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Multi-discipline medical team as a Consultant Urologist on a full-time or part-time basis. As a Practice Plus Group Consultant you will have access to great facilities in a well-structured and relaxed environment. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard whether NHS or privately funded. You will be performing Urological surgical procedures on patients referred to the Hospital, working in accordance with hospital protocols and working practices. From your extensive experience you will able to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of Urological problems. To provide an onsite urology service to meet the needs of patients treated at both Practice Plus Group Hospital Emersons Green and Devizes Surgical Centre. Whilst the working week will comprise an agreed number of sessions based on the total number of contracted hours, working patterns will be flexible and may entail an ad-hoc mix of late evenings and weekend work to meet the requirements of the unit. There is no on-call commitment but post holders must be prepared to assess patients urgently in person on the unit as requested by the Resident Doctor (RD) on duty during routine working hours. Post holders will be expected to provide cross-cover for colleagues during periods of absence, including for example annual leave and study leave whenever possible.
