Locum Consultant Rehabilitation Psychiatrist – Inpatient

We are looking for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation service .

As a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist at Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust, you'll lead a collaborative team and provide high-quality care.

As a clinical leader in the team, the post-holder will be in overall charge of patient's care.

They will delegate to other team members and seek to support the development of individual team members in the pursuit of excellent clinical care.

The post-holder will have expert knowledge of options for the use of psychotropic medication and of the monitoring and treatment of physical illnesses including when to refer patients to their GPs or specialists.

They will have good working knowledge of the use of MHA, MCA, safeguarding procedures and the Court of Protection
