Salaried GP

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team at St Albans Medical Group, Felling Health Centre, Gateshead. The successful applicant will work as part of our primary care team, providing a high standard of general medical services to our practice population We welcome applications from experienced GPs as well as newly qualified GPs. We are able to offer flexibility around the number of sessions for the right candidate.

We are looking for a GP to work 4- 8 clinical sessions. We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate and are looking at someone to start November 2026. You will have a highly supportive working enviroment focusing on your professional and personal well- being.

St Albans Medical Group provides high-quality, patient-centred care from our practice based within Felling Health Centre in Felling, Gateshead. We are part of East Gateshead Primary Care Network (PCN) and work collaboratively with our wider primary care team to provide comprehensive care to our local community.

We care for approximately 7,200 patients and are an established GP training practice. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting our clinicians to maintain a healthy and sustainable worklife balance.

Our experienced clinical team includes 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 Healthcare Assistants. We are also supported by the East Gateshead PCN Pharmacy Team, who provide valuable support with medication queries, structured medication reviews and other aspects of medicines management, helping our GPs to focus on clinical care.
