Salaried GP

Salaried GP Position of a standard 2 sessions per week, with scope for possible extra sessions depending on demand. An exciting vacancy has arisen at The Beeches Medical Practice Shrewsbury for a GP to join our friendly team working at least 2 sessions per week.

We are looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly GP to join our practice to contribute to our patient focused team. The post holder should work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care. The post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

The Beeches Medical Practice is a friendly 4 Partner Practice. We are situated on the south side of Shrewsbury providing medical care for approximately 7,100 people. The practice covers a wide area from Bayston Hill to Leebotwood in the north - south direction and Acton Burnell to Pulverbatch in the east - west direction. We have two surgeries, Bayston Hill and Dorrington. Dorrington being our dispensing surgery. We are an efficient and friendly team of 4 GP partners, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, a HCA/Phlebotomist, a Practice Manager, Operations Manager, Dispensary Manager, Care Coordinator, and a team of 11 Medical administrators, Dispensers and Receptionists. We are a training practice, and clinicians and staff are very involved in ensuring the trainees gain full experience of all aspects of life in general practice. We look after Medical Students from Keele University and GP Registrars for various timescales. We use EMIS Web clinical system along with Docman and Teamnet
