Paediatric Locum Consultant

3 months fixed term post to cover sabbatical

Providing senior acute care to Paediatric and neonatal patients across the Paediatric Ward, Children's Assessment Unit, Paediatric ED, SCBU and outpatient settings.

The main duties of this role is to provide 1:8 Consultant on call cover enabling senior decision making and support for the Speciality Doctors within Paediatrics and SCBU, whilst also providing support to the Paediatric Emergency Department.

When not providing on call provision the consultant will be working closely with the Paediatric outpatients team to see and review new and follow up patients in clinic.
