HMP YOI Werrington is a male juveniles prison supporting 118 patients, the prison is located in Werrington Staffordshire. Within this role you will be delivering GP clinics, which will mainly cover minor acute needs and minor injuries, as well as some long term conditions such as asthma. Hours 3 clinics per week,Monday,Wednesday,Friday The site can offer flexibility with start and end times of sessions. Salary This is a part time role, you'll receive an annual salary between £119,140and £129,500per annum FTE - depending on experience How will we support you? You will Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldnt usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment. Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. Qualifications required MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
