Clinical Fellow Paediatrics *C PF (PB Clin)

This is a 4 months fixed term Clinical fellow (ST3-5) post in Paediatrics is aligned with the RCPCH-approved higher specialty training programme (Level 2), offering rotational experience across general Paediatrics, neonatology, emergency care, and sub-specialties. The successful candidate will gain advanced skills in acute and chronic management, leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination, preparing for consultant-level practice. The post includes on-call duties (Tier 2 rota), ward rounds, out patient clinics, procedures, teaching, and quality improvement projects. Training is supervised by an Educational Supervisor, with ePortfolio maintenance and ARCP progression aligned to GMC and RCPCH standards.

Provide a service to patients of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, General Practitioners and to attend multi-disciplinary meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to work within multi-disciplinary team in providing high quality clinical care. Responsible for the continuing care and treatment of patients in their charge and personal performance of clinical duties. provide support to the A&E department and acute medicine to ensure timely appropriate care and patient flow through the hospital. Attend Consultant ward rounds and triage ward referrals. Prepare patients for planned treatment and procedures, including post-operative care as required. Provide consultation and advisory service to clinical colleagues in the Trust and Primary Care, including discharge summaries.
