Upper Limb surgery fellowship

Fellowship in complex elbow trauma

FRCS(Orth) or appropriate specialist qualification

Good understanding of and adherence to the principles of Good Medical Practice set out by the General Medical Council

Evidence of broad-based training, including experience in trauma management with a focus on upper limb injuries, including the management of complex fractures and periprosthetic fractures.

Logbook evidence demonstrating experience in the operative management of a wide range of elective and traumatic upper limb conditions.

Solid Understanding of the Clinical Governance Agenda

IT proficiency including, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Evidence of effective audit leading to change

Demonstrates an understanding of the principles and applications of clinical research

Experience of implementing evidenced based changes in practice

Experience of undergraduate teaching and post graduate training

A good understanding of the role of clinical management

Understanding Self

Excellent communication and influencing skills

Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Managing self effectively

Ability to planning ahead whilst being innovative and flexible in approach.
