Invicta Health has a GP Consultant opportunity available at East Cliff Practice. East Cliff Practice is based in Ramsgate with its historic harbour and attractive coastline and on the high speed rail link to London. Our neighbours are the traditional seaside towns of Broadstairs with its blue flag beaches, and Margate, home to the Turner Centre and Old Town area. East Cliff Practice is warm and friendly with a robust multi-disciplinary team, which includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners,, Nurse Practitioners and a Clinical Pharmacy team. The multi-disciplinary team is supported by an experienced reception and administration team who handle referrals, prescriptions, reports and other general tasks. East Cliff Practice is one of seven GP Practices that sit under Invicta Health.We are a well known community interest company, devoted to supporting and improving primary care in the Kent area.

The role involves working collaboratively with GP Consultant colleagues, the Invicta Health leadership team, and practice staff to ensure the highest possible standards of patient care. The postholder will provide clinical oversight, leadership, and direction for the site, with a particular focus on supporting and developing the GP and Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) workforce. This role requires a visible on-site clinical leadership presence, ensuring accessibility to all staff for advice, guidance, and decision-making to support the safe and effective operation of the practice.

Essential

A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003
Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983
Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
Currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register
Vocational Training certificate or certificate/experience of equivalence
Current BLS and Safeguarding certification
Current Hep B Immunity certificate
In practice as a General Practitioner/Locum Practitioner
An up to date understanding of modern primary care and its delivery in an urgent care and community setting
Understands the NHS and its clinical environment
Able to manage common medical, surgical, and psychiatric emergencies
Ability to make the appropriate referral for further management
Leadership experience
Highly developed leadership skills
Highly developed oral and written communication skills
Excellent communication and listening skills even in difficult situations
An ability to use the clinical systems
Able to demonstrate holistic patient care
