Salaried GP

5 to 6 SESSION SALARIED GP POST IN SOUTHAMPTON Alma Medical Centre In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.

We are looking for one GP to join our team at Alma Medical centre. General Medical Services with 5 to 6 sessions per week. Days per week can be negotiable but would need to ensure good cover for your patients through the week including Mondays & Fridays. You will be based at our Alma Medical Centre with the support of a well establish traditional list holding team of GP's In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking, and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.

We currently are 3 Partners and 4 salaried GP working at Alma Medical Centre, with a well- established team of Practice Nurses, HCAs and reception/ administration staff. As well as having happy patients we are also a team of doctors with high job satisfaction who enjoy working together.
