GUY'S AND ST. THOMAS' HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST Consultant in Diabetes, Obesity, Endocrinology & GIM £113,565- £150,569 excl. of LZ Full time 10 sessions per week Permanent The department of diabetes and endocrinology is seeking to appoint a Consultant Physician to join a comprehensive, forward-thinking team in a full-time (10 PA) capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to join a first class team in an active and progressive central London teaching hospital environment. The department of diabetes and endocrinology provides inpatient and outpatient (including community services in Lambeth and Southwark) across all out hospital sites including GSTT and RBHH. This post will be based across the hospital and community sites, and includes specialist diabetes, endocrinology, obesity and GIM. This post will have key contributions to obesity medicine, specialist diabetes and endocrinology services at the Trust and support our delivery of community services and provision of services at RBHH.

The job plan is anticipated to contain 10 Programmed Activities per week on average to be carried out on Guy's & St Thomas' sites, including RBHH and community sites and includes on-call commitments. This is an outline programme and you will be expected to discuss and agree a detailed job plan including your personal and professional objectives with your Clinical Leads/Director within 3 months of your start date. The post-holder will have a commitments to our continuously developing obesity services, transition and general endocrinology and specialist diabetes services, across the Trust sites. There is a commitment to GIM including inpatient medicine and the acute unselected medical take.
