About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Acute Medicine at Chorley District Hospital. This is a key senior decision-maker role within a friendly, well-supported Acute Medicine team, working within the Medical Assessment Unit. This role is ideal for doctors who have completed Core Medical Training (or equivalent) and are looking to build confidence and experience in Acute Medicine, whether as preparation for higher specialty training or within a non-training career pathway. There are strong opportunities for teaching, audit and quality improvement in a department with a supportive educational culture.
We are pleased to invite applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow (SCF) in Acute Medicine to join the Acute Medicine team at Chorley District Hospital, with close working links to Royal Preston Hospital. This post provides registrar-level experience in Acute Medicine within a supportive, educationally focused environment. Although not a formal training post, the successful candidate will receive equivalent educational opportunities to specialty trainees, including access to an educational supervisor and e-portfolio.
