About the role
Join a traditional rural practice where we look after our patients from cradle to grave. Where colleagues feel like family and pull together under the constant pressures in the NHS. Where the senior partner will support you, be open to ideas, be flexible and listen. One of the few practices that still offer a paid admin session. Daily coffee catch up with fellow GPs and ANPs. Regular cake and treats!!!
We have worked hard to strengthen our clinical team and constantly support each other to develop our skills. Come and join an amazing team.
We are looking for a 6 session salaried GP to join us, to replace an outgoing GP. This will be 5 clinical sessions, 1 admin session, ideally days of work to be Monday, Tuesday and Friday. We are total triage, which has improved our access. Monday to Thursday, the triage is done by our experienced ANPs and GPs have appointments. This is a mix of 10minute telephone slots and 15minute face to face slots, less than BMA recommended contacts on a routine day. Fridays, the triage rotates round the GPs. Full training is given, but it can be a fun day, lots of variability and complete control of the surgery contacts. We have a visiting service, first contact physio, clinical pharmacist and pharmacy techs. There will be no OOH commitment & extended hours are run by the PCN. All the benefits of wider services through the active PCN but the feel of a traditional family practice. We have an inhouse dispensary. Monthly virtual wards, to discuss complex cases and monthly palliative care meetings. Come and have a look for yourself, informal meetings encouraged. Come meet us, so we can show off our wonderful surgery!
