About the role
GP Partner Help Us Shape Our Next Chapter Central Bristol | 4 to 8 sessions | 17,000+ patients | Established 5 partner practice Following the planned retirement of our longstanding senior partner, we are looking for a 4 to 8 session GP Partner to join us from April 2027. This is a planned succession within a stable & successful partnership. We are not looking for a like-for-like replacement we want someone who will bring their own experience, interests & ideas, have a genuine voice within the partnership & help shape what comes next. We have a cohesive, highly experienced team, low staff turnover & strong working relationships, alongside a supportive & high-functioning PCN. We embrace technology where it genuinely improves things, while retaining the personal, approach that matters to our patients & staff. Our central location also makes us different. We work from a beautiful Grade II listed building, surrounded by lovely gardens & in something of a rarity for central Bristol, we even have a large car park! It isnt a conventional health centre & we rather like it that way. We are looking for more than someone to fill a vacancy; we want the right person to become the next member of our partnership. Whether you are already a partner or considering partnership for the first time, if you want to contribute, develop, be valued & help shape the future of the practice, we would be delighted to hear from you. Come meet us, have a look around & see whether we might be the right fit for you.
As a GP Partner, you will combine high-quality clinical care with an active role in the leadership and future direction of the practice. Alongside your clinical sessions, you will share responsibility with your fellow partners for the safe, effective and sustainable running of the practice. This includes contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement, financial and strategic decision-making, and supporting the wider practice team. Partnership is very much a team effort. We want someone who will bring their own perspective, interests and ideas to the table, while sharing responsibility for the decisions we make and the direction we take. You will work closely with our experienced management and clinical teams and with colleagues across our PCN, helping us respond to the inevitable challenges of general practice without losing sight of what matters providing excellent care for our patients and creating a supportive place for our team to work. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of the practice rather than simply work within it: someone prepared to contribute, get involved, occasionally challenge us and help shape what comes next.
