About the role

We are looking to recruit an additional Physician Associates who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role in the Barnsley Primary Care Network, and support our existing Physician Associates in the area to further the role. All Physician Associates within our PCN are assigned a dedicated GP Mentor within the practice team. This is a 12 month fixed term position offering between 22.5 to 28.5 hours per week based at Victoria Medical Practice. The working pattern is 3 days per week which must include a Monday and Tuesday then either a Wednesday or a Thursday. Also please note that you must have two years experience or more as a Physician Associate. Essential

Ability to work well with colleagues and within a team

Sound IT knowledge including use of clinical systems
Experience of conducting clinical audit

Graduation from a recognised/accredited Physician Associate higher education institution
Certification of passing the PA National Examination
Member of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the RCP, including registration on the PA Managed Voluntary Register
