About the role

This is a Senior Clinical Fellow post in Hepatobiliary and Liver transplant Anaesthesia based at the Royal Free Hospital. The post holder will join an existing pool of deanery trainees in the anaesthetics department who are taking part in a comprehensive ST3+ (specialist trainee year 3 and above) training program in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. Person specification

Essential

GMC registration
MBBS or equivalent
FRCA or equivalent
Strong oral and written communications in English
Minimum 5 years ICU/Anaesthetics experience (incl 3 year anaesthetics)
Logbook evidence of experience
Ability to work within a multi- disciplinary team
Ability to build good relationships and work collaboratively with staff at all levels of the organisation
Ability to relate to patients from a wide range of backgrounds and to empathise with their needs and concerns
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, the public and colleagues and treat others with compassion, dignity and respect, taking into account any diversity issues
Willingness and skills to recognise and challenge unacceptable behaviour and if necessary escalate
Committed to personal development
Motivated to do an excellent job to best of ability
The ability and skills to be a potential leader in their field
