Salaried GP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a salaried GP to join our friendly team at Pearl Medical Centre. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature, together with the ability to work in a demanding environment and an aptitude for great customer service. You will provide a high quality service to patients and colleagues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: · To take clinical responsibility for registered patients and maintain appropriate records of treatment given and NHS services provided · Undertake a variety of consultations including face to face, telephone triage, telephone consultations and home visits as well as participating in the on call Rota Ensure appropriate referrals are made in a timely and efficient manner, optimising the use of Choose and Book to facilitate patient choice and access · Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems; assessing the health needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems · Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards; ensuring accurate notes of all patient contact and consultations, in line with any IM&T protocols · Prescribe safe and effective medicines management which conforms to CCG formulary, NICE guidance and DH directives ; operating safe management and regular review for all patients receiving repeat prescriptions
