About the role
This is a 10PA locum appointment for a Paediatric General Surgery Consultant, with special interests in Colorectal. This post will be available from July 2026 for a period of 6 months.
This post will deliver 10 PAs supporting the Paediatric General Surgery team (Mr Parsons).
The post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary.
The successful applicant should hold accreditation in FRCS (Paediatric Surgery) or equivalent and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.
Applicants should have established skills in Paediatric Surgery. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential.
