About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our dynamic primary care team for 3 to 4 sessions per week(Fridays necessary). This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive and collaborative practice environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff, to deliver comprehensive healthcare to our local community.

Provide high-quality patient care Conduct face to face, telephone, and video consultations, plus occasional home visits Liaise with colleagues and external providers to ensure seamless care Investigate and refer patients appropriately, in line with guidance Review results and correspondence promptly Provide cover for colleagues when required Collect and review data for audit and QOF purposes Maintain excellent communication with patients and carers Attend clinical, governance, and educational meetings Work collaboratively and effectively within the team Manage your own workload and resources effectively Attend required training events and feedback sessions
Report and follow up on significant incidents
Humberstone Medical Centre is a well-established GP practice located in East Leicester, serving a diverse population of approximately 12,000 patients. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our experienced team includes GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Registrars, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, and supporting staff along with strong management team, all working together to meet the needs of our local community.
