Consultant in Anaesthesia

This is a really exciting time to join the Trust as we further develop our dedicated elective site at Ashford Hospital to achieve our vision of creating a state-of-the-art centre of excellence for planned surgical procedures; with care delivered by dedicated, specialist teams in a modern and well-equipped environment. We are looking for 2 Consultants in Anaesthesia to join our talented and enthusiastic team of over 50 consultants and 10 specialty doctors, working in a friendly and flexible department. The opportunities have been created by a combination of replacement posts and service expansion.There is an on-call commitment included in this post, the supplement is 3%. Each session equates to 1.25 PAs. The job plan will be across St Peter's Hospital and Ashford Hospital cross sites. Our vision is to create a centre of excellence, where staff have the opportunity to work in an environment of continuous learning and professional development. This role forms part of the Department of Anaesthesia where we are proud of our effective multidisciplinary team working between medical, nursing, management and support staff.
