Specialist Clinical Fellow paediatrics

Opportunity to be part of the paediatric team at Frimley Park Hospital as a Trust Doctor ST3+ equivalent. Successful candidate will work across the paediatric and neonatal teams. This post is for 12 months, commencing September 2026. 2 posts are available. ST3+ trainees work a full shift rota, covering daytime duties and out-of-hours shifts across both general paediatrics and neonatal services.

We are seeking an enthusiastic resident doctor who has an interest in Paediatrics and wants experience before committing to a full training programme. The successful candidate will join the existing team in a modern hospital with a well-equipped children's department and local neonatal unit (level 2). While this post does not carry formal training recognition, it does provide an opportunity to care for a tremendously varied group of patients in a large paediatric department in a busy District General Hospital. This post holder would join a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, and resident doctors. The responsibilities will include a combination of Registrar level night duties alongside day shifts, and an opportunity to develop outpatient skills. There will be opportunity for teaching, and a focus on supporting the middle grade trainees would be expected. You will be assigned a clinical supervisor who will oversee your continued professional development.
