General Practitioner Ystwyth Medical Group

Salary Available on Application 4 to 6 sessions a week

Applications are welcomed from GPs looking for 4 - 6 sessions per week, who would like to explore the option of partnership in the future. We welcome applications form GPs with special interests, or from those looking to develop. You will work as part of a close-knit supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to the continued development of the practice.

Provide General Medical Services (GMS) in accordance with the NHS GMS contract

Undertake surgery based consultations, telephone consultation and home visits

Management of patients with acute and chronic conditions

Prescribe safely and appropriately in line with practice and national guidelines

Process and action results, clinical correspondence and referrals

Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records in line with professional guidelines

Participate in weekly practice meetings, clinical governance, audits and quality improvement activities

Supervision of medical students and resident doctors where required

Work collaboratively as part of our multidisciplinary team
