You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of experienced trauma and orthopaedic consultants, committed to providing exemplary patient-centred care to both local and regional populations. This substantive post offers the opportunity to lead and further develop the upper limb service, encompassing comprehensive management of upper limb trauma, elbow arthoplasty across trauma pathways and electively as capacity allows. Responsibilities will include the assessment, surgical intervention, and ongoing management of complex upper limb trauma and elective cases, utilising the latest techniques and evidence-based practices. You will be expected to participate in the trauma rota, contribute to major trauma on-call activity, and demonstrate substantial experience in trauma operating. Collaboration with allied health professionals, participation in audit and clinical governance, and involvement in teaching and research are integral aspects of this role.
