Salaried GP Fixed Term Maternity Cover Starting August 2026 through to January 2027 Our friendly team at Clark Avenue Surgery are looking to recruit a Salaried GP to cover maternity leave. So, if you are an enthusiastic, forward-thinking individual who is looking to work with a team who is committed to providing the best care to our communities we want to hear from you! Ideally five sessions per week per post on a Thursday and Friday plus one additional session. One evening on-call session per week Predominately F2F appointment sessions but mayalso include clinical triage via AccuRx Total Triage System Low GP Home Visit Numbers Daily team get togethers at lunchtime Our Team: 4 GP Partners, 9 Salaried GPs. 1 ANP. 3 Nurses and 2 HCAs. Fantastic Reception/Admin/Secretarial Support. Teaching Practice for ST1,ST2 and ST3 GP Registrars and Year 3 Medical Students.

We are seeking to recruit a Salaried General Practitioner on a fixed-term contract for six months to cover maternity leave, commencing week beginning 3rd August 2026 and ending week ending 15th January 2027. The postholder will be required to work five sessions per week, covering, Thursday, and Friday plus one additional session. The Salaried GP will play an integral role in delivering high-quality primary healthcare services and supporting the overall wellbeing of our patient population. The role involves providing a comprehensive range of medical care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness, for patients across all age groups. This includes the management of both acute presentations and long-term conditions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective, safe, and patient-centred care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the postholder will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of services within the practice, supporting clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and practice decision-making processes. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards, delivering excellent patient care, and keeping up to date with current best practice, guidance, and developments in general practice.
