About the role
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is the main provider of children's community services to the county of Hampshire. HIOW CAMHS operates within the Child & Family Division of the Trust, clinically led by a Clinical Director and supported by a Senior Leadership Team. It is commissioned to provide a comprehensive service for children and young people up to the age of 18 years in line with the National Service Framework and the Government white paper for people with Learning difficulties 'Valuing People' and works in an increasingly integrated way with the other Trust providers of children's and mental health services as well as partner agencies. This appointment will be under the terms of the SAS Contract 2021 and salary will be dependent on previous experience according to the pay scales of that contract. The post holder will be professionally accountable to the Chief Medical Officer of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust via professional leads and the Clinical Director and will be organisationally accountable to the Chief Executive via the service managers of the Children's Service Line. The post-holder will undertake programmed activities, according to an agreed job-plan, and will be expected to participate in on call and cross cover arrangements as required in the future.
