Consultant Psychiatrist

Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist Service Line: Male Acute Mental Health Professionally Accountable to: Medical Director Managerially Responsible to: Hospital Manager We are seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist who will work Cygnet Hospital Sherwood and provide senior medical cover on Treetops ward. Thepost holder will be the Responsible Clinician and will oversee and maintain the care of all ward inpatients as required and will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the ward and ensuring their good quality in accordance to GMC standards of good medical practice and other relevant professional guidelines.

Cygnet Hospital Sherwood is our state-of-the-art PICU and Acute hospital for men, in Nottinghamshire. Treetops Ward is a 14 bedded mental health acute service for men, based at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood in Nottinghamshire. In this role, your expertise will be the driving force for life-changing treatment fully supported by a Specialty Doctor and first-class multidisciplinary team including qualified nurses, psychologist and occupational therapist. And youll have the opportunity to progress to Medical Director Level through our management schemes.
