Locum Consultant in Gynaecology

The gynaecology team we have the exciting opportunity for a fulltime (10 PA) consultant post, within the gynaecology service at Gloucestershire Hospitals Trusts. Any candidate who is unable, for personal reasons, to work full time will still be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content can be discussed on a personal basis. Job share applicants are also welcome. The post-holder will help provide specialist gynaecology services, including cancer exclusion clinics. They will provide on call support overnight, and on weekends, together with appropriate teaching and supervision of junior doctors and medical students. You will be expected to work closely with general practitioners, gynaecology and oncology staff to provide a seamless service and deliver high quality surgical outcomes within national targets.
