Clinical Fellow with a special interest in Maternal Medicine in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology

We are inviting applications to fill our Senior Clinical Fellow with a special interest in Maternal Medicine vacancy at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. This post is available to commence immediately.

Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice at the time of application.

The above post is suitable for doctors wishing to gain clinical experience at a ST3+ level in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The post offers the successful candidate a wide range of experience in all areas of the specialty. Whilst this post is not recognised for training, the appointee will be supported by a Clinical Supervisor to meet their career and educational goals. There will be opportunities to develop special interests in Maternal Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in the several specialised maternal medicine clinics which take place across both hospitals. These are run by specialists in the field and include diabetes, endocrinology, haematology, cardiology, gastro-intestinal and rheumatology. In addition s/he will be invited to participate in the regular MDT meetings as well getting involved and leading QI projects and teaching in the area.
