Fixed Term Consultant Gastroenterologist

This is an exciting opportunity for a whole time (10 programmed activities and on-call) appointment as a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our supportive and forward-thinking Gastroenterology team at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS , based at Lincoln County hospital. This is an fixed term post to developed to support the expansion of gastroenterology and endoscopy at Lincoln County Hospital. Any applicant who is unable for personal reasons to work full time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the trust in consultation with consultant colleagues. Any applicants with an interest in ERCP would be regarded favourably.

The successful post-holder will:

Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standards of patient care

Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines

Develop and maintain good working practices

Collaborate and promote close working links with colleagues in tertiary centres, community services and primary care
