Consultant Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent (attracts £25K RRP)

This job attracts a Recruitment & Retention payment of £25,000 in addition to £8000 relocation allowance. The RRP is pro rata for part time employees. We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Children & Young People's (CYPS) Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity, working with a unique integrated service mental health & social care. The service is a tier 4 prevention service. Candidate will be leading clinically consulting with care coordinators that will be offering outreach visits to homes/hospitals/schools The service has 2 day programme running as day hospital & a respite crisis house. You will be working alongside another consultant & 1 or 2 resident doctors. Fully integrated Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) using a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) model but all range of therapy available. You'll be joining a Trust committed to early intervention, prevention, & supporting young people to thrive. You'll have the opportunity of working within a well-established and friendly team of highly skilled professionals who are passionate and committed to the care needs of our children and young people. You would be responsible for providing a diagnostic, assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents with mental health problems within a multi-disciplinary approach to care, promoting high-quality multidisciplinary working and relationships. You will participate in an emergency out-of-hours rota, providing back-up for junior doctors and professionals in assessing young people seen in A&E. You'll have opportunities to support, supervise and train our Junior Medical Staff within the team.
