About the role
Please note: You must be on the Specialist Register in order to be eligible for appointment to this level of post. The post holder would be coming to join a committed and experienced team. This posts offers excellent opportunities to join a service which has recently had significant investment and recently opened Urology Investigations Unit. The Directorate would welcome applications from existing and newly trained Consultants. This is an opportunity to join an organisation in which Clinicians are at the forefront of urology surgical management with opportunities to practice and expand skills through close working relationships with the senior management teams. Candidates wishing to work part time and/or flexibly are welcome to apply. North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust has recently invested in robotic surgery at the Cumberland Infirmary and will shortly be launching an exciting new robotics programme. This represents a significant opportunity to be involved at an early stage in the development of a modern robotic service. We would welcome applications from individuals with experience in, or a strong interest in developing, robotic surgery for urology in lower urinary tract procedures. The Trust is keen to support training and professional development in robotics, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build and shape their robotic practice.
