About the role
Join one of the largest and most forward-thinking Critical Care services in the UK as an ICU Senior Clinical Fellow within the Critical Care Service at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, based across Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) and St Jamess University Hospital (SJUH). With more than 80 critical care beds, a diverse case mix, and access to nationally recognised specialist services including liver transplantation, major trauma, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and paediatric intensive care, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop advanced intensive care skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
This fellowship is designed around your individual career goals, with bespoke training opportunities, dedicated educational supervision, research and leadership experience, and support towards CESR or advanced specialist competencies. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic doctors who are passionate about high-quality patient care, enjoy working collaboratively, and are eager to develop as senior clinical leaders, educators and researchers in a dynamic and expanding critical care environment.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic doctor who can work at a senior level within the intensive care unit, contributing to high-quality patient care as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team. You will bring sound clinical judgement, the ability to support junior medical colleagues and Advanced Critical Care Practitioners, and a commitment to developing your own practice through teaching, training, audit, research and leadership opportunities.
