Salaried GP

Waterloo Medical Centre is looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, working 5-6 sessions per week. We are a well-established GP training practice serving around 12,500 patients and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care. You'll work alongside experienced GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. This role includes routine GP consultations, clinical administration, management of results and correspondence, with opportunities to become involved in teaching and service development. The successful candidate will provide high-quality primary medical care to our patient population of approximately 12,500 patients. Duties will include delivering face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, assessing and managing acute and chronic conditions, reviewing test results, prescribing medication, and completing associated clinical administration. The role involves working closely with our multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain high professional standards, support continuity of care and contribute positively to the ongoing development of the practice.
