Salaried GP

Grove House Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate General Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive team on a nine-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover, commencing in February 2027. This is an eight-session role, working Monday to Thursday.

The successful candidate will join the practice clinical team for the duration of the maternity leave cover. The role is structured around eight sessions per week, Monday to Thursday, with 15-minute appointments and a 60/40 clinical-to-paperwork split on templates. The practice aims to provide a supportive working environment, with patient list sizes aligned with RCGP safe working guidance. Home working may be available as part of a hybrid working arrangement.

Grove House Practice is an established teaching practice caring for nearly 15,000 patients. Our multidisciplinary team includes four GP partners, seven salaried GPs, two Advanced Nurse Practitioners, five nurses, a Health Care Assistant, ARRS team members, a dedicated Frailty Team and a Community Matron.
