Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Emergency Medicine

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated senior clinical fellow to join our dynamic and supportive Paediatric Emergency Department at St Georges' Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for doctors with previous experience in paediatrics or emergency medicine who wish to further develop their clinical, leadership, and teaching skills in a busy tertiary hospital and Major Trauma Centre. Successful candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality emergency care to infants, children and young people with a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries. The role offers excellent opportunities for supervised clinical practice, service development, quality improvement, simulation training and undergraduate/postgraduate teaching. This post is particularly suited to candidates considering a future in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and may provide valuable experience towards specialist training applications. The post is only suitable for clinicians with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience post graduation. This must include previous experience in paediatrics, or at least 3 years' experience in emergency medicine including some experience in paediatric emergency care. Experience of working in the NHS or an equivalent healthcare system is essential.
