Consultant MSK Radiologist with an interest in SPECT-CT

Applications are invited for a part time (0.5WTE of 5 fixed sessions per week), consultant musculoskeletal radiologist with an interest in SPECT CT, at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. The successful candidate will work with the current team to provide the highest level of patient care in musculoskeletal imaging including diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology and will be expected to be active in research, presentation and publication. The department has 14 full time consultant radiologists. The hospital is a leading institution of international reputation in the field of orthopaedics and is a centre of excellence for complex spinal and MSK oncological treatment. The primary base is at Brockley Hill, Stanmore Middlesex supported by Central London outpatient facilities. We are seeking a candidate that works with a patient/problem-orientated approach to orthopaedic conditions. Full GMC registration and entry on the GMC specialist register with CCT or equivalent (proposed CCT/CESR date must be within 3 months of interview) Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship including evidence of extensive bone and soft tissue sarcoma experience. Quantitative demonstration of dedicated MSK (including spinal) interventional procedural experience. Management or Leadership experience - e.g. rota/leave coordinator.
