An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Step 4 Psychotherapy Service as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy, specialising in Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy (CBT). This post supports the expansion of psychotherapy capacity to meet growing demand and improve patient outcomes.
Location: St Ann’s House & Nottingham Psychotherapy Unit
Your Role:
Deliver CBT assessments and treatment for complex cases
Run a medication clinic for CBT patients referred from primary care
Collaborate with psychiatrists and LMHT clinicians to enhance care pathways
Supervise Higher and Core trainees in CBT
Participate in referral meetings, case discussions, and business planning
Engage in CPD and academic programmes
