About the role
Ardingly Court Surgery (in Kemptown, Brighton) is seeking salaried GP to join our team. Initially 2 sessions will be on a 6 month contract (ideally 8th October 2026 - end of March 2027). With a possibility of extension beyond by mutual agreement and continued central government funding. Our preference for the fixed term 2 sessions would be all day Thursday. (If you are unable to offer Thursdays please state what sessions you could offer for this to be considered). There is also a further 1 session that we can offer on a permanent basis - this ideally would be a Monday (AM or PM could be negotiated). We are a friendly inner city NHS GP practice in vibrant area of Brighton. Seek to provide a positive working environment with a good work life balance. Salary equivalent £12,006 per annum per session (pro rata). Annual leave and study leave in line with BMA salaried contract. Excellent administrative support from workflow team (who review and code all clinical documents). GP training practice & have very active Primary Care Network We are GP practice of approximately 6,500 patients. Allowing GPs to have a manageable patient list and continuity of care. This post would not have patients assigned to them personally but would take a proportion of paperwork (prescriptions/ documents/ lab results) on their working days. Our clinical system is EMIS and we utilise Ardens templates to assist with data capture. *Interviews ideally to take place morning of 17th September*
