About the role
One Health is looking for a Consultant Neurophysiologist to support and grow our Neurophysiology team across South Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role in a private or NHS setting. You should have a professional outlook, empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patient confidentiality. The Candidate should be able to undertake all Neurophysiology requirements, including EMG's and NCS's as well as complex spinal cases.
You should currently be in a substantive NHS post OR in a long-term locum post (more than 12 months) If not in current NHS post, should have been a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 years before leaving the NHS On GMC register and have no hearings or restrictions (or equivalent) Should have relevant sub specialist qualifications ( for example FRCS {orth} in Orthopaedics)
This role will involve assessing and undertaking investigations for NHS patients referred to One Health, via the NHS e-Referral System. Appointments will be held across a number of outreach clinic sites, with a specific focus on South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
